Of course, you should always follow standard precautions when dealing with any ebay auction: -- Never bid on an auction by a seller with a low feedback number. I'm wary of anything less than 10. -- Always read the auction thoroughly. Ask questions if you are confused about anything. -- In they are not available in the auction, see if you can have the seller send you pictures of the machine turned on and giving some kind of feedback to show that all readouts are working properly. The good thing about the CC7 is that there are SO MANY of them around, that it shouldn't be too hard to find one that is in "perfect" condition (however you define that). jm
