My technique of shutting down and restarting solves the problem and has the advantage of maintaining the large hash table without hard disk access. Do you not understand english! My technique has the advantage of maintaining the large hash size table. Why would you reduce it when you don't have to. BTW it takes more than 2 seconds for the engine to initialize the new hash table. I timed it. it takes 20 seconds, aproximately the same time it takes to shut Shredder doen and restart. Therefore my technique is better because for the same amount of time, you are able to get a larger hash table size.
