I think it'd take at least a "class C" player who is motivated, and has lots of time to play the same lines over and over and over until they discover certain "holes" in a particular engine's play. As far as mini-maxing, well, I think the whole point of the antichess style is to avoid contact with your opponent's forces as much as possible so that you don't have to do much calculating. The anti-chess style reminds me that back in the 1970's Muhammed Ali had an exhibition match with a Japanese martial arts expert. The match consisted of Ali's opponent crawling around the ring on his hands and feet like a spider, kicking at Ali whenever he approached. I suppose you could say the "fight" ended in a draw, but the thing was, there was no fight. Ali's opponent knew he stood no chance, so he simply refused to stand up and trade blows, even though he was allowed to use his feet (the equivalent of a human using his brain). It really doesn't need to be stated that the martial arts expert made a rather pathetic impression.
