Yes, and I stand by it.
If you add a move or variation, the Program includes it in the ECO
Classification. You can Manually make the Program include a move or
prevent the Program from making a move. You can make a Tree "on the fly"
but it is stored in Virtual memory, and when you shut down, it is lost, it is
not a permanent feature. That is not a bug, the Program is doing what it
is suupposed to do.
As I said, the Tree by default is 'write protected'.
When writing it to your Hard Disc, it does NOT automatically remove that
protection.
Your assertion that it does, just displays your ignorance.
What is bizarre, is "why" you would want to add 1 move to a Tree!
