You really do not understand?!? Of course you can add or remove write protection on a file. (That is a standard windows feature.) And one reason to add a move or more to tree: You have made a tree from a set of games that do not include the move you like. So you add it. If the statistics is is messed up after you do that, its a bug! (It should not add any statistics at all for the new move, until it has learned from a database. Torstein
