I have a Go program (Gonzo :-) and am actively working on it, unlike my chess program which I have not touched for quite some time. I think Computer Go is much more interesting than Computer Chess these days, certainly much more challenging. One cool thing is that there are many different approaches being tried so there is heaps of scope for inovation. Of course my Go program doesn't play so well (yet), even compared to other Go programs! As already mentioned, there are a number of Chess Programmers with a strong interest in Computer Go. Some have working programs that play in tournaments, for example Don Dailey and Johan de Konig. cheers, Peter
