No power spike, otherwise all 3 PCs would have suffered the same fate. But yes,
they are connected to a basic surge protector which protects against spikes,
though not a full UPS

I've done a bit of a search and this seems not uncommon with Antecs, they seem
to overheat although they should adjust the speed of their own fans to regulate
their own heat
