Dr. Wesler, For chess and games this system is great. It is not the fastest unit around. The price in USD is average. I would go with a 21 inch monitor and a faster processor. On the other hand, with the money you save on this machine you can buy one next year that is over twice as fast. Tim PS A Lite-On or HP Lightscribe DVD burner might be a suitable add-on at a later time.
