The Computer is a Conchess Ambassador in box with manual the photo shows the LEDS on the board lit up in a way that could indicate a defective computer..however the Conchess computers are a bit finicky in that unless the pieces are set up before the computer is turned on they can act erratically what i find odd is this disclaimer in the sellers auction description "However please note that I am not an expert in this area and although everything appears to be in perfect working order I can’t confirm that I have tested all the facilities and the buyer must accept that this is an excellent chess set and board with the potential to be a superb chess computer" this sounds to me like the seller is saying that the computer is being sold as a chess set and not as chess computer he does mention later on that ... "In the event that on receipt of the item for which you have been the winning bidder you find that it differs significantly from the description or, if any flaw or fault which could reasonably have been identified in the description was omitted, then kindly contact me and provide details of the fault or omission.WITHOUT further discussion you have the option of accepting the item or returning it to me." this in combination with the above statment makes me think that should the computer not work he will argue that he already said it must be accepted as only a chess set this is too tricky in my opinion BUYER BEWARE sTEVE http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=2554&item=5202502962&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW
