(2) easy engine configuration - maybe using Dann's database idea (3) scripting support for tournament/match scheduling - e.g., you could provide standard scripts for round robin, gauntlet, swiss - but say I want a double elimination team tourmament that doesn't exist yet... - note : would be nice to be able to pause(save)/resume a script in progress (by just cancelling current game) - note : even people who don't want to code up a complex tournament scheme could find this useful just to schedule sequential matches (e.g., crafty vs glaurung, then [winner] vs fruit, then amy vs deep sjeng, etc.) (4) time odds (i.e., allow different time controls for white and black) By the way, even if some/most people don't like 3D for playing, it certainly is neat for *watching*.
