Subject: Female chess programmers?

A 23 year old female (Danica Patrick) made history yesterday in the Indy 500
race, for the first time ever a female led several laps, coming very close to
winning the race. This great achievement naturally got me to wondering if there
are there any known female computer chess programmers?

Any thoughts or opinions why there are so few, if any, chess engines authored by
females? :-)
