i agree with john the interface or good looks are little matter to serious chess players!!!! strength is all that counts , i do agree that the other programs are weak strong anf they are very useful. for instance to compare fritz's database with hiarcs7's would be i great favour of fritz. though in respect to strength in my eyes hiarcs7 is far better. some would say that certain tournement seem to show that there is less of a gap,but i believe that the auto player 232 is a unrealiable method of testing and ed schroder creater of the rebel programs seems to share this opinion!
