you do recall correctly.
Katz was one of the first reviewers for the dedicated computers for the USCF
ICD(the sponser here) even hired Katz to man the phones for a chess computer
promotion they did in the early 1980's
it was something like a 12 hour marathon
i think i called 25 times

yes thank goodness
but the reed switches on many of my auto-sensory's do die with alarming
regularity
