Baron had a somewhat worse position after the opening book, but managed to improve its positions to where it had a superior knight against a pawnish bishop. Unfortunately it saw a method to win a pawn after the exchange of these two pieces, and it lost the resulting endgame as it had to sacrifice a rook for a promoting pawn. Coincidentally, the same type of endgame happened two rounds later again against the King, this time the Baron managed to draw the game though. Richard.
