Deep Sjeng will be added to the Res in August 05
i know nothing of this engine
i knew nothing of Ruffian before i started playing it in the Res
your thoughts on how DS will do in the Res?

>Well done

thanks Clive but you and i both know this was a silly blunder by the Res
i can hold my own against most of my higher rated computers without being given
a gift like this

it pays to repeat.. that on level ..Game 10 and the default level (15 sec per
move)the Res avoids the blunder

i have also played dozens of Blitz games with the Res and got crunched

but its human nature to post only ones wins

its something similar to the 1964 Exhibition tour Fischer gave in the US where
he barnstormed the US from coast to coast

many of those games were lost but practically all of his loses and draws(what
few there were )survived

you get crunched by the visiting GM you dont exactly keep the game score under
lock and key for 40 years
you manage to eek out a draw or even a win and you save that score to show to
your grandchildren

great book btw..Fischer On The Road(by Donaldson)..second Edition just released
