I forced a couple of the more obvious lines to see what The King would think if
I gave it a shove.

First line: 26.Qb3 Nxd2 27.Qxf7 Kxh7 28.Rxe8 Rxe8 29.Qxe8 Qa8 30.Qxa8 Bxa8
31.Rd1.
CM9_R1 gave the position at the end of this line a score of +1.24 after almost
three minutes on an AMD 2500. I think this whole line is forced after 26...Nxd2.

Second line: 26.Qb3 Qa6 27.Qxf3 Kxh7 28.Rxe8 Rxe8 29.Qd3+ Kg8 30.Rc1 Qd6 31.Qxd6
Nxd6 32.Rxc5 b3.
The King gave the position at the end of this line a score of +0.74 in about the
same amount of time. This line I am not too confident about, however....

And remember that The King gave 26.Rxe8 on the initial position a score of
+1.90.
