Excellent display by Shredder and Pro Deo. Congrats Stefan and Ed (and other people associated with the programs)! Good third place for Gandalf. Its winning game against GoldBar made the difference for SB-points and thus third place. Who would have thought that? We have witnessed a break-through of GoldBar by Bart Goldhoorn and Joost Buijs. Their hard work has paid off. What a thriller in the final round Diep-GoldBar! At some time during the game Diep was set up with a wrong position by Vincent. The players did not want to finish the game with speed(y) chess, so the arbiter Jan Krabbenbos decided to go back to the right position, and set a deadline for playing and appoint a judge. It was agreed a few extra moves had to be played for clarity. Then Diep was clearly losing according to both programs and the judge. Theo
