Some more of Chrilly's comments at chessgames.com:

"June 1:
In the correspondence games Hydra-Chimeira played with own books made by the
sponsor. But this was not the reason for the loss. GM Nickel was in this games
simply better. In the sparring matches GM Lutz+Shredder&Fritz against Hydra,
Lutz was somewhat better than Hydra-Chimeira. But Hydra-Scylla has already a
slight edge over this combination.

June 4:
Besides these, Hydra is not unbeatable at all. We estimate that the programm has
about 2950 Elo. Fritz, Shredder about 2800. 150 Elo more does not mean, that one
can not loose. The combination of strong human player plus Shredder&Fritz is
according our internal results about as strong as Hydra.

June 5:
In contrast to common believe is opening theory the point where Top-GMs are
certainly superior to the machines. This is the part of the game the programmers
really fear.
Top-GMs do not fear the opening, but the tablebases. E.g. in human-human games
Queen against Rook is usually won. But it is well known, that humans have
considerable problems to win this endgame against a database."
