Depends on what people get from it, you can argue that going to an amusement
park is a waste of time, but for those who have fun with it, it is not.

Just because you don't find it fun, does not mean that it can't be fun for
others and because you don't understand it does not make it a big mystery
either.
You are projecting your own values onto others if you can't accept that.

>>>isnt watching two engines play very boring for you?

Nope, i play a lot of chess myself (mainly against my dad) and i still find it
great fun to see an interesting position unfold, whether that be between two
engines, engine v man or two humans.

I have learned a lot from both.

Again this is a computer chess forum... people are posting games, it just
happens to be games in thread with the forum theme, maybe you should go
elsewhere if you are so unhappy here.

http://www.chessgames.com is a good place to start if you want to see human v
human games.

>>>controls, most of CCC people here run 1min engine tournament.

Not true, Both Kurt and Graham does a great job running long timed tournaments
of very high quality and the fact that you fail to mention that says a lot about
you.
