If someone took my work like >that and kept it private i would feel bad for sure. From the Fruit info page at Leo's WBEC site: Legal details ------------- Fruit 2.0 Copyright 2004 Fabien Letouzey. It has been some time since I've done any reading about open source issues. But if my memory of the GPL (Gnu Public License) is correct. It states that any distributed programs that are the derivative of a GPL'ed program such as fruit, must also make the source available. Maybe that is actually the reason Toga's author is not distributing the program. Perhaps by not allowing a download from a public site, he is saying he doesn't have to publish the source. Personally, I feel this really doesn't follow the spirit of the GPL license, which he wouldn't have been able to make Toga without. But technically, may be legal. Eric
