Apple's market share is very low (~2%), and that kind of volume dosn't make profits for IBM. Hence they have no interest in improving G5 for apple's benefit. Apple is not switching to intel because intel has more powerful processors, but because IBM is not making a notebook useable version of G5. And biggest share of apple's profits comes from selling notebooks. >-------- >A recent visit to the doctor has revealed a new heart problem and so tomorrow I >get to spend some time with the Cardiac Care prognosticators at the local >hospital for further testing.
