well it was the first Mephisto module to use the 6502 processor
also it was supposed to be used mainly for Blitz chess  and Problem solving
hence the name B&P

it was also the only Mephisto module to have the little clock insignia on the
top row of the leds...as soon as the opponent starts taking more time  then the
computer ..it starts flashing
and finally it has no way to turn the sound off
