Having played many "nunn1" matches, I have to say that most programs play the french opening with black pretty...bad. The opening used in the nunn1 match has also the line which ends where black can castle... after which white can play Bxh7 with an almost certain win. Anyway, I can check the statistics to see wich program does best with black if you really want to know.
