Crafty anything.anything will instantly complain when you set the board to this position. It says "position is illegal, side not on move is in check." If you use a gui that ignores the error message from Crafty, there is little I can do to deal with that... Who would want to fix such a thing even if their program did handle it wrong? Should we also worry about positions with 16 white kings? Chess is a game with rules that tightly define "legality". >----------------------------------------------------------- > >1. = (0.00): 1.0-0-0+ Kg7 2.Be6 Kf6 3.Rh6+ Ke5 4.Kc2 Bf2 5.Bd7 Rae8 6.Bxe8 Rxe8 >7.Rd3 Bg1 8.Kc3 >2. = (0.00): 1.Be6+ Kg7 2.0-0-0 Kf6 3.Rh6+ Ke5 4.Kc2 Bf2 5.Bd7 Rae8 6.Bxe8 Rxe8 >7.Rd3 >3. = (0.00): 1.Bd5+ Kg7 2.Bxa8 Rxa8 3.0-0-0 Kf6 4.Kc2 Ke5 5.Kd3 Bf2 6.Kc4 Bg3 >7.Rhe1+ Bxe1 8.Rxe1+ Kf4 >4. = (0.00): 1.Bc4+ Kg7 2.0-0-0 Kg6 3.Kc2 Kg5 4.Kd3 Bf2 5.Bd5 Kf4 6.Bxa8 Rxa8 >7.Kc4 Ke3 >5. = (0.00): 1.Bb3+ Kg7 2.0-0-0 Kf6 3.Kc2 Ke5 4.Kb2 Bf2 5.Kc3 Rae8 6.Bd5 Kf4 >7.Kb4 Ke3 >6. = (0.00): 1.Rh6+ Kg7 2.Rd6 Bf2+ 3.Ke2 Rxa2+ 4.Rxa2 Bg1 5.Rd7+ Kf6 6.Kd3 Ke5 >7.Kc4 Kf4 8.Kd5 Ke3 9.Ke6 > >----------------------------------------------------------- >That's right......take it......be a devil...... :-)))) > >That you Shredder 8 and Deep Shredder 8 >----------------------------------------------------------- > >1. +- (90.64): 1.Bxg8 Bd4 2.Kd2 Rf2+ 3.Kd3 >2. ² (0.47): 1.Bd5+ Kg7 2.Bxa8 Rxa8 3.0-0-0 Be3+ 4.Kb2 >3. = (0.00): 1.Kd1+ Kg7 2.Bd5 Rfd8 3.Ra5 Kf6 >4. = (0.00): 1.Rf1+ Kh8 2.Rxf8+ Rxf8 3.Kd2 Bf2 4.Kc2 Re8 >5. = (0.00): 1.Bb3+ Kg7 2.Ba4 Kf6 3.Kd2 Bf2 4.Kc2 >6. = (0.00): 1.Kd2+ Kg7 2.Kd3 Kf6 3.Kc3 Bf2 > >----------------------------------------------------------- >Mate in Zero.......if you say so little engine....... :-)))) > >Thank you Junior 8 and Deep Junior 8 >----------------------------------------------------------- > >1. # (#0): 1.Bxg8 >2. +- (1.46): 1.Bd5+ Kg7 2.Bxa8 >3. = (0.21): 1.Be6+ Kg7 >4. = (0.21): 1.Bc4+ Kg7 >5. = (0.17): 1.Kd2+ Kg7 >6. = (0.17): 1.Ke2+ Kg7 > >=========================================================== > >We suppose now that the authors can fix their engines so that they may know the >fundamental rules of chess.
