Subject: Extreme Chess Database limit

Hello everyone,

This is my first post, so please be kind. I bought the program Extreme Chess
in response to Hiarcs 4's pathetic ability to handle databases of any serious
size & inability to read any PGN format other than it's own. XChess handles
DB's well, and I use the Hiarcs 4 engine to analyze with in DOS with a whole
lot of hash. I was getting along fine using X to compile & search DB's,
importing to H4 and having fun. Until I assembled a DB of 61,125 games. It
keeps overwriting previous ones to make room for the new. DOES ANYONE KNOW
HOW TO GET PAST THIS WITHOUT SPENDING MORE EXPENSIVE AMERICAN MONEY TO THROW AT
ANOTHER CHESS PROGRAM???

P.S. I will never buy a Hiarcs program again !
