This is exactly what we said from the very first moment.

If it is a chess engine it should play chess. It is not the GUI who is
responsible for checking the chess rules.

We always said it is only a first step in detecting similarities. You can test
each engine in EACH GUI you may also include console mode and watch for the
different error messages which might or might not exsist, depending on the
position.

This is a forum and not a scientific publication. The method was proven to work
a posteriori with all known cloned engines. The test suite only helps us finding
the candidtaes faster.

It is not a joke to copy 20-30% of the code and not even mention the original
author either. Also iof someone wants to go commercial he should be sincere.
