Dick, I have three of them, but didn't realize that there was a >Steinitz module. What is it's function? The Gruenfeld, Morphy and Capablanca >are designated for the openings, middle game and end game. What is left for the >Steinitz? the Steinitz edition-4 module is an upgrade of the Morphy module. it was about 20-25 points stronger and it incorporated the Gruen opening book and Capa endgame modules all into one module it is the last Module Applied Concepts(Destiny) released before going out of business it has some more advanced features over the Morphy such the ability to show a position evaluation and if i recall correctly some more level choices btw..it should be noted that the Gruen and Capa modules were released in two versions they are referred to a Capa "S" and Greun "S" the Gruen "S" had a more advanced book then the normal Gruen a quick way to determine which one you have is to play G2-G3 as an opening move..the normal Gruen will have no reply for it and immediately call for you to switch modules.. while the Gruen "S" will reply from its book now that i think about it,i could be mistaken and it could be B2-B3 i dont remember exactly as i havent played the computer for some time if your Gruen has a reply to both of these moves..it is the enhanced or "S" modules. if it has a book reply to only one and not the other it is the normal Greun the Capa "S" also had the ability to show a position evaluation and an additional level >I learn something new every time I look at your wonderful pictures. thanks for the kind words Best Steve
