Consider this: Engine thinks about position then gives you 1. +- (#2): 1.Rfe7+ Kf8 2.Qxf4+ Kg8 3.Re8# That might mean: Now I play Rfe7+ and _after_ I played it I announce mate in 2. Other engines annonunce mate from start of thinking position which makes more sense to me and you. -Andrew-
