Aron Tay himself says : "Even if disk swapping does not occur, some engines (certain versions of Crafty, Chessmaster8K for example) clear hash tables each move, which can lead to a few seconds delay for large transposition tables. (The patched CM8K and CM9K dont suffer from this)." As I use a patched CM10K, I suppose it's even less a problem than with CM9K. Why then should I reduce the hash ? On the other hand, the Yoda 2.7 tuning that I used is surely not the best CM10K personality : I am far from being a CM specialist. I would be glad to get the best established parameters for CM10 at blitz time controls. Marc Marc
