Madhavan.... You manifestly fail to see the point. The point is this...... The GUI is telling the rules to the engine. All the amateur programmers here must agree that this a very BIG unfair advantage in any competition. WCCC 2005 included. If all amateur programmers were able to make there engines WITHOUT regard to the rules as happens here then their code would be both smaller, faster and therefore be able to calculate on other BETTER things rather than the validity of a position. As it stands this is not fair to them. FULL STOP.
