I think they already know that H6 is going to lose in the long run.  The entire
purpose of a match such as this is to play against an opponent with a known
rating.  The rating of H6 on a P90 is well established.
In a chess tournament, Kasparov probably has a lot of games against opponents
that everyone thinks he will beat.  Even so, by observing the outcomes we can
make extrapolations about the ability of both players from a mathematical
standpoint.

The purpose of the exercise is not to see who will win, but what the ratio of
strength between the two programs is.
