Well , there are detection systems but some cheaters are just so hard to catch
,if not impossible .. i will like to share some ways cheaters use to cheat on
internet chess..remember that some chess sites doesnt have task switching
instead they have name of engines in their database ,whenever the person runs
the specific engine , the system alerts, this can be easily cracked one can
rename the engine file EXE to anything else for example Scanreg.exe thus it will
think there is system scan.

1.hard to detect - one would start the opening all by himself thus playing wrong
lines of openings , for example starting with 1.h4 d5 2.h5 e5 , these cheater
they usually continue to 5-6 moves then switch to engine from 6th move they do
make the moves as they play it , so they do not lose much time.this is hard to
get but if the game is analyzed , one might detect computer moves depending on
how much time was given to the engine to think , for example it is very hard to
detect it if the game is lets say 2 mins game , the cheater could give the
engine just 0secs for move thus engine would play whatever move that comes in
its search, its good bcoz then the engine plays probably at 2000 level for
example gandalf 2700 will play at 2200 level at 0 sec game, thus there will be
bad moves , so even if the game is analysed they will always get different moves
than the ones made in the game.

2.very very hard to detect almost impossible --- the trick would be to use The
King engine settings which would play at say 1900 level , but remember 1900 is
good for quick games bcoz human doesnt get the best moves that quick and engine
has ponder on which gives engine upper hand, the settings can be adjusted to
players style, it goes the same for opening the cheater would start with unusual
opening and then move on to the engine , which would play very bad but still win
the game , remember that 1900 settings can easily get a player 2300+ elo over
internet chess.... , this sort of cheater can get in suspicious list if he gets
lots of wins in row . it would become even harder if the player loses 2-3 games
in between 10 games to higher rated players....

3.this one beats all of them , the cheater would use 2 computers to cheat , so
even task switching system wont work , this sort of cheater , would again play
bullet games 2 mins , bcoz long games can be easier , as they might analyse the
games and get same moves as chess programs, so cheaters usually use this kinda
way to cheat in quick games , and again giving comp only 1 min for the exact
game, so the engine would play bad moves all but trust me engines play very
aggressive moves in 1 min compared to human , they usually crash players rated
2600 easily over internet....

there are some others , but they are easier to detect these are some hard ones
to detect, even if the cheater gets caught he can easily get away as the admins
will not find anything in his games , bcoz of the trickery..

any other ideas???
