Yeah,position you have posting?

I'm looking forward to it,I'm cheering for Shredder to win this time :)

few engines but very strong and mostly commercials unlike CCT

So,must use opening book,Opening book is also a part of engine code.
If engine doesnt use opening book,it 'd probably play same repeated moves for
both sides.

>4. The engines use tablebases.

I dont know about this, its also a part of engine code. But the fact is engine
uses calculation and search in the middle game.

ya,ya you can have all you want.

Nope!get some 2200 elo engine running on a faster hardware and shredder running
on a P1 or P2,there's high chances and most of them would favour shredder, what
about you?dude :)

Chess played by computers against other computers, you have to "program" the
engine to let it play real chess.Computers alone cannot play chess.
If you talk aboput hardware playing chess, you are providing nonsense and
bullshit.

No same hardware! Why can't some program run in a Hydra hardware?some prorams are
designed to play in specific hardware.

>Money is not everything, progress is much more important than money.

Prize money and product popularity is all that matters to a programmer.

some free programs like Fruit may take part, also spike and Ikarus.
Special appearance fees will also be given to the programmer by organisers ICGA.

Ido care, because I wanted to see the thrill of softwares playing and I wanted to
see the games and improve my chess.
