I'm more confused that in the begining, anyway i think it's best to know. Here are the clues i have, please point me wrong when needed: 1. Christoper Conquie is rigth on his statement. That email is comming from Morelia, México, Dann forwarded me that email. The IP is 200.77.146.157 and it's from Morelia, Mexico: X-Originating-IP: [200.77.146.157] X-Originating-Email: [karimejaime_80@hotmail.com] http://www.showmyip.com/es/?ip=200.77.146.157 2. My IP it's from the same provider: http://www.showmyip.com/es/?ip=200.77.147.83 but i some hours ago it was http://www.showmyip.com/es/?ip=200.95.225.95 So the IP's are dynamic. the name of the provider is Telemedia, a cable provider. Since i know the provider i know some things about it. Telemedia use one IP to give service to many houses, i think this is called masking. What i mean it's that many houses have the same public IP. So the IP it's dynamic and masked, i think it's almost imposible to trace with just the IP of the email as reference. 3. Only persons i know who are aware of the clone problems, from Morelia, who knows about the existence of the people who received the email are Rafael and me. I'm not aware of anybody else, but the posibility of being someone else it's there... maybe insignificant but it's there. 4. I downloaded Winchen from: http://www.earlyretiremint.com/freeware_motherload/freeware_leisure_games.htm and i made a binary comparision with the attached EXE file of that email and the EXE file downloaded: C:\fc winchen.exe winchen.ex1 /b It seems that it's the same, so i think it's not a contaminated file, anyway, point me wrong if that's the case. 5. I think that since the file seems not dangerous, that was not the point of the attack. So making damage with the atached file was not the point. But i don't see a point on attaking me. 6. So the point of the attack it's a misteriuos to me, i simply fail to find logical motives for what that email was sended. Of course i state that i didn't send it, i want to make this clear, so if anybody has something to say about it, it could be nice to talk about it know. 7. I will sent a copy of this to Rafael, so he can make an statement if he wants. I will send a copy if this also to the address karimejaime_80@hotmail.com. This is all i have, if some of you can point me to more information on this it will be nice. Thanks for the time on reading this.
