That's on the one hand.  On the other hand, in none of the recent WCCC contests
has the machine with the most MIPS come off the winner.
(Look at the Cilkchess, Zugzwang, P.Conners, etc. entries).

So just throwing a billion-gazillion horsepower at it won't make it a winner.
