I dont know about the linux version but the Windows version uses an file named
"comet.ics", mine looks like this:
MAX_HASH [nr of megabytes]:128
PONDER [ON or OFF]: ON
SELECTIVITY [ON or OFF]: ON
BOOK [ON or OFF]: ON
RESIGN [ON or OFF]: ON
OFFER_DRAW [ON or OFF]: ON
ICS-INFO [ON or OFF]: OFF
TB_PATH: D:\SchaakData\tbs
TB_CACHE [nr of megabytes]:32
SHOW_PONDER [ON or OFF]: ON
ENGINE_BEEP [ON or OFF]: OFF

Specially the bookline can be interresting for you!
