Hi Thomas, it is true that you made the great mistake of basing Toga heavily on Fruit, without informing the public till other people became suspecious and used clone-detection methods to expose the truth. However, your reaction to the whole clone issue has been 95% perfect. This you did right: - admitted that Toga is heavily based on Fruit - released genuine source code of Toga 0.93 This you (your testers) did wrong: - published results of Toga 0.94 without releasing source code. (such results must remain private till source code is published) All in all, you have apologized enough and need not be attacked any more. I hope others who have also made "opensource mistakes" will learn from you. Best, Matthias.
