Very seldom... I just write chess programs. :-)

Intelligent?  Would have to be the human, since computers have
no "real" intelligence.  As far as which plays better chess:
I'm not qualified to say.

I seriously doubt it.  Look at the math. :-)
It is "practically impossible."

I prefer a human... for my (weak) level of chess, they are
usually far less punishing.
