Hi, I've been thinking about reductions for a while. Some people say we should do reductions when the opponent's position is so hopeless (or mine is so good) to save time. Others say we should reduce depth when I'm way behind alpha (current position is way below what I can achieve). Wich should we do? Is it sound to aply both cases? Best regards, Alvaro Cardoso
