I have long advocated this type of system for match prize funds. There are two components: money will be awarded on a per-game basis; and less money is awarded for each draw. http://www.hydrachess.com/main.cfm "Prize Fund : The total prize of the match is $ 150,000 which will given to the players per game basis, the winner of each game will get $ 25,000 where as in case of a draw both opponents will get $ 10,000 each."
