The question if it is legal is another question but people do illegal things to make money. There are a lot of people who do not know fruit and believe that something that they can download for free cannot be at the same level of the commercial programs so some cheaters may use faked name and tell other people that they developed a new program at the level of Fritz and sell it to them.
