The Fidelity Elite Avant Garde, model number 6081, arrived today. It is in beautiful condition and seems to work perfectly. I like the dual displays and the large pieces. Why is this model known as the EAG Mobile Master? It certainly isn't very mobile. The 6081 is designed to use additional modules. Are these the same modules that my SC9 would use? Since the 6081 was introduced in 1985 and the SC9 in 1982, it seems likely. The manual lists the following modules: Book Openings I and II (models CB9 and CB16), 64 Greatest Games (model CG64), Tarrasch Defense (model TDF), and a 5 module set of chess openings (models EOA, EOB, EOC, EOD, and EOE). Were all of these modules in fact produced for sale? How do I go about locating some of these? :-) They seem to be fairly rare. Anyway, this is very nice chess computer, especially for being 20 years old. Dick Schneiders
