Subject: Better for computer chess

Well I just need a quick answer on which piece of hardware will perform better
for computer chess since I'm in the market for a new computer. Choices are
Intel's Dual core Pentium D 840 @ 3.2GHz for 6.4GHz OR AMD's Dual core Athlon 64
X2 4200+ @ 2.2GHz for 4.4Ghz. There is a 2Ghz gap between the two and I'm not
sure which will perform better for chess.
