Note that I am not sure my suggestion is the right one.  But we _do_ have a
problem.  I have heard that at least two 'commercial' programs are going to
release a parallel version before long.  My only advice to them is to note the
copyright notice on the top of the source code.  And to be sure that their
parallel search is _different_.  As I am sure that sooner or later, our
university attorney is going to have to get involved in this, something I had
never thought possible.

It is sad, but unfortunately it is true...  and while lots of people would
benefit by open source code, it is also likely that many will be negatively
influenced by it.

That is a regret I suppose I'll have to live with.
