You're right it seems! Been through it several times with a couple of engines. Play it simple, and I can't find a way for White to win it. Junior 9 liked 24.Qxc8, Qf6 (or Qa5), and "realized" only late that White gained most with the queens still on the board. Maybe Adams realized something about the exchange, too, considering yesterdays game!?
