I know exactly what you're talking about and it doesn't apply in this case. The way the FIDE calculates ratings _will_ give you a different rating, regardless of pools or what have you. I know something of the ELO system, and I don't need you to explain it to me, so drop the straw man arguements, it makes you look very foolish. You dumped on Ed Schroder as well and said he didn't know what he was talking about, yet he knows far and away more than you on this topic. Ed Schroder writes all the Rebel programs, he incorperates a rating system into his programs. Maybe you should listen for a change then constantly asserting what you believe you know.
