If the server crashed and was given another IP address upon recconection (maybe different each time it crashed) and reconnected you would need to install the software below. http://www.directupdate.net/ ....on the server. Also port 80 would need to be open on the web server (and be allowed through the firewall to that machine, if it connects through a proxy/gateway). I assume that IP's are given to the machines on an "as required" basis by the provider when needing internet access. Christopher
