Adams is simply getting away from the fundamentals of playing a computer. Swapping off material and making it a tactical game is playing into Hydra's hands, or any computer for that matter. It is common sense when you think about. Keep something on each file (they are all bean counters), keep as much material on the board as possible (give them more beans to count, thus slowing it down), and wait for a mistake. Oh.. and play flawlessly yourself. Pick an opening that you have prepared really well for/against, and just play solid chess. Topolov proved that Hydra could be beat, only to fudge the game and wind up with a draw. Peter
