There is a big difference between 10 moves deep in most cases and hard limit of 10 moves. The initial post gave the impression that there is a hard limit of 10 moves. I think that a good book for hydra should include only lines that were analyzed with hydra and some short lines that are known not to be a mistake because GM's often play them in tournament games and in case that they were a mistake some GM could probably find it in his analysis before the game and play a winning novelty. I do not see the point of the limit of 10 moves. A book is to save time and if you know that hydra will play move X in position Y based on previous calculation then it is stupid to let it calculate again. Uri
