In my humble opinion and with all respect. I am really sad for GM Michael Adams. To have played 2 times 1.e2e4 was a suicide; One was a draw, other one a lost game. The answer 1....e7e5 against 1.e2e4 was correct from Adams against Hydra. To have played Ruy Lopez without "c7c5" was other suicide line. Why was? Because to play open lines, or half open lines against Hydra is a mistake. Now is too late. Best, Pablo
